After waking up to the horrifying sight of a snow covered land, we actually made it to the NEC for the Sewing for pleasure exhibition to buy lots of fabric!
This is a picture of all the fabric we bought collectively - just looking for a place to put it all now, it cant stay on the kitchen table!
We also found the 'beachuts' by Makower fabric that we really wanted to buy to make some gorgeous big 50's style skirts - we saw it in John Lewis for £17 a metre, but thanks to http://www.fabricsgalore.co.uk/ we got some for £10!
We also treated ourselves to this amazing Hello Kitty Liberty Cotton Lawn for some amazing tops (pricey but worth it)
So a good day but very tiring so an early night for me!
