Good Times

Feeling good today, was very busy. Did some very successful charity shop shopping this morning, followed by a drink with uni friends at lunch. Art lecture not up to much, but that can;t be helped. Did a little more charity shop shopping then went to visit my nan for afternoon tea and cake, coincidentally. Then off to the hairdressers for a new colour and cut, and then to buy some mini daffodils before returning home to a dinner, already cooked! Mum helped me plant these beauties,

Mini Daffodils
Masses of lovely bright yellow, multi headed flowers with mid-green strap-shaped leaves.
Suitable for any cool place inside the home.
Keep cool ensuring the soil is kept moist. Allow fading flowers to die back naturally and re plant outside, then enjoy your afternoon tea set with a slice of cake on the side!

These were the gems i found charity shopping. This is the start of my collection to launch a vintage gems section in the shop! From left ot right - a gorgeous floral skirt, grandad cardigan, and a nice big square scarf with a paisley print.

I think these may be a set of coasters but would look fab with embroidered letters or words on then appliqued onto a nice floral fabric, 8 for 79p, bargain!!

And randomly this strange paper card concoction was what my teacup set was wrapped in, really strange texture but interesting to look at, ill keep that for a later date / project!

This was the water colour sketch i did for the labels for the Tea and Cake Mini Daffodil Plants :) Pretty pleased with the results, was only a 10 min job.

And finally a flyer i created for 10% off in store and online, feel free to use!
Now off to be more productive!
